The state of Hawaii requires APMEX to collect general excise taxes on all products sold by APMEX and delivered to a Hawaii address.

How Does Hawaii Calculate Precious Metals Taxes?

General excise taxes in Hawaii are calculated at checkout on the APMEX website based on (1) the taxability of products sold by APMEX in Hawaii set forth above and (2) the specific tax rates established by the taxing jurisdiction of the delivery address in Hawaii.APMEX began collecting general excise taxes in Hawaii in August 2018.
